Thousands of Muslim men and women
have joined the Eid prayer at the Governor Hadji Sadikul Sahali Sports Complex
Thursday, in commemoration of the day of feasting (Hariraya Eidil Fitri), after
the glorious completion of the blessed month of Ramadhan.
Among the devoted Muslim who
prostrated to glorify the Almighty ALLAH on the Eid Mubarak day was Governor
Nurbert Sahali, heading a number of provincial officials and employees, in the
multitude of Islamic devotees in the two-hour Eid prayer.
In a short message before the
prayer, Sahali has said to strengthen support to the religious activities in
the province and urged the raayat (people) to fasten themselves into the rope
of the Almighty ALLAH.
He also said that good Muslims
should adhere, in all aspects, to the Muslim ways of life and avoid those that
have been prohibited by ALLAH through his Glorious Quran, and by the Hadith of
the Holy Prophet, SAW.
Sahali will receive visitors in
their residence in Lomboy, Bongao and will also proceed to his home
municipality, Panglima Sugala, to meet his constituents and relatives, where he
was former mayor for three consecutive terms before grasping the provincial
leadership as governor.
